4-H Community Service

My grandson, Ethan, is a new Cloverbud member to our local 4-H Club.  One of the things our local 4-H tries to do each year is volunteer help at an area Salvation Army Shelter at least twice a year.  In January, Ethan volunteered to help with this worthy cause and had so much fun. Above he grates cheese to be used in a recipe for an evening meal.  He also helped cut vegetables for a salad.

Here Ethan works hard at cleaning the tables.  He worked very hard from the moment we got there.  From cleaning the tables before and after the meal, to helping prep the meal and serving.  Ethan said it really made him feel good to help someone else.   I'm so proud of him!
